Dr Caitlin Wood BVSc (Hons) MANZCVS PhD

Dr Caitlin Wood graduated with honours from the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science in 2007. After many years working across a range of general veterinary practice and academic settings, she was drawn to end-of-life care because of the profound difference it can make for both animals and the people who love them.

Dr Caitlin believes that a gentle, unhurried goodbye at home allows pets to pass peacefully, surrounded by familiar faces, voices, and comforts. With deep respect for the human–animal bond, she provides a compassionate and dignified in-home euthanasia service, ensuring every family feels supported, listened to, and never rushed.

Living in the Gold Coast Hinterland on her family farm with her children and beloved animals, Dr Caitlin understands first-hand the deep bonds families share with their pets. Each animal in her care is treated as if they were one of her own, with kindness, respect, and compassion at every step.
